Fitting an LPG tank system

Part 2...

So now that the tank is installed in place it is time to add the cables and pipes.

The LPG line runs out of the tank and into a gas filter which fits onto the outlet connector on the tank. This filter should filter out any debris in the tank. Any small amount of debris could lead to serious problems if it enters the boiler or cooker so this little device is essential. The filter then joins onto the low pressure valve. From the low pressure valve there is copper pipe with rubber sleeving (to make it road legal) that serves the appliances in the van.

Finally once all the pipe has been laid and bent into place using a pipe bender we were able to start connecting up the appliances. Be really careful bending the pipe as any errors means you have to start again and get new pipe!
